When will your next shop update be?
We are currently in the process of building ready to ship inventory. This will ensure that the shop always has items available for purchase. What does it mean when a listing says “Pre-order”?
Pre-order listings include a timeline for when the yarn will ship which can be anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks and sometimes longer depending on what is being offered. These listings will include an estimated shipping date, but these dates may vary slightly.
Where is my yarn?
If you ordered yarn as part of a pre-order, the estimated shipping date was included in the listing and is included on your invoice. If it has been shipped already, you should have received a shipping notice with a tracking number. You can track your order here: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input.
If you have not received a shipping confirmation, please check your spam folder to make sure it wasn’t marked as spam. If it has been more than 10 business days from when you received your shipping confirmation, please email your order number and a request to check on the status of your order to email@example.com. Please be polite and wait for a response before emailing again.
Are you able to offer yarn support?
LBYC would be more than happy to provide yarn support for designers when certain conditions are met.
Are you able to collaborate with designers?
We are always flattered when you choose to use our yarn for your designs. Please notify us if you’re getting ready to release a pattern using LolaBean yarn so we can determine whether or not we have time in our dyeing schedule to accommodate a joint release.
Why can’t I order from the Colorway page?
The colorway page is simply a sampling of the colors we have been dyeing but is not necessarily representative of what is currently available for sale. Please click the Shop tab to see what is in the store.
Can I place a custom order?
LBYC is not taking custom orders at this time.
Do you offer sweater quantity discounts?
Not at this time since LolaBean yarn is already competitively priced.
Can I order mugs or pins or projects bags from you?
Yes. We have shop updates periodically that include LolaBean merchandise, but they are typically separate from yarn shop updates due to complications with ready to ship and pre-order items.
When will my order ship if I get a mix of ready to ship and pre-order items?
Your entire order will ship together once the pre-order items are ready. If you want your ready to ship items to ship sooner, please place a separate order.
Do you refund or combine shipping for multiple orders?
No. This requires a lot of time to organize that we do not have.
How often do you ship orders?
Customers should expect their order(s) to ship within 3 business days, unless it is a pre-order. LBYC does not work or ship orders on holidays or the weekend.
Can I purchase yarn to match a previous dye lot?
No. Yarn is dyed to order and while we try our best to keep dye lots similar, they will have variations due to the handmade nature of our work. Please be sure to order enough skeins for your projects as future batches may not be an exact match.
Does LBYC have a refund/return policy?
We try to be as descriptive as possible when listing items in the shop. With that being said, no refunds will be issued due to any misunderstanding of the listed item. All information is clearly provided in the item description. If you have any questions or concerns about any item you wish to purchase please feel free to contact us PRIOR TO MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. The only time a full refund or exchange will be honored is in the event that your purchased item is damaged and/or defective from the manufacturer. When returning an item, please provide any relevant tracking information. This information can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Failure to do so may result in us not being able to account for your return.
