The holidays are coming and this year we’re taking a trip to one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time: Home Alone.

Inspired by the classic holiday film that gave us booby traps, aftershave screams, a very brave kid, and a whole lot of Christmas nostalgia, this year’s holiday box is packed with colorways designed to capture the magic, mischief, and cozy holiday charm of Kevin McCallister’s unforgettable adventure.

In an effort to keep costs down and make this year’s holiday offering a little more accessible, the 2026 Holiday Box will be smaller than our traditional countdown calendar boxes. We will not be offering a swag option this year. Instead, each box will include four half skeins and one full skein of yarn in your choice of fingering weight or DK weight.

If committing to the full box isn’t in the cards this year, don’t worry. Just like last year, we’ll also be offering the full skein colorway from the box as a standalone purchase. Whether you’d like to grab a few extra skeins to pair with your box or simply want to join in on a bit of the fun without purchasing the entire set, you’ll have that option.

As always, quantities will be limited. Boxes are expected to ship in early November, giving you plenty of time to enjoy them throughout the holiday season.

This yarn is HAND DYED by yours truly! I ask that you order enough yarn to finish and complete your project so that your skeins are better matched. While I try my best to maintain consistency with all of my yarns, I ask that you remember that with hand dyed yarns, NO TWO SKEINS WILL EVER BE IDENTICAL!!!!

Care Instructions: While this yarn can be machine washed, hand washing is STRONGLY recommended to maintain the color and quality of your finished piece.

*NOTES - All companies, including companies who purchase dyed yarns from a mill can have a problem with bleeding or transfer of colors. This mostly occurs in blues and teals, but can occur with any very dark and saturated color. Every effort has been made to ensure that this yarn does not bleed. The color in this yarn has been set BUT you may or may not see an insignificant amount of color exhaust in the water during your first wash but nothing thereafter. This is common with most hand dyed yarns and again, hand washing is strongly suggested to maintain the color and quality of your finished piece.
